Every career connects.
A daily basketball puzzle about the teammates you remember—and the ones you forgot.
Why Schröder?
Dennis Schröder’s connections across the league inspired our basketball take on “six degrees of separation.” Trades, short stints and long partnerships can bring two seemingly unrelated careers together. Each daily puzzle asks you to find those links.
This is an independent fan project, free to play and not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA, its teams or players. There are no wagers, entry fees or cash prizes.
How Daily Connectors works
- Look at the pair. Everyone gets the same two featured players for the day.
- Find their shared teammates. Search for an eligible active player who played with both. The two partnerships can be from different teams and seasons.
- Use your guess slots. The allowance is twice the number of answers: five answers means ten guesses. Correct and incorrect guesses both use a slot. Selecting an answer you already found does not use another.
- Finish and share. Find all the answers, use every slot, or finish early. Your completed attempt is locked. The share card shows your squares and totals without revealing the answers.
A new puzzle arrives at 00:00 UTC. There is no timer while you play, but the daily puzzle changes at that boundary.
What counts as a connection?
Both players must have logged minutes for the same team in the same regular-season game. Being on the same roster is not enough. Preseason, playoffs, play-in games and the NBA Cup final are excluded.
For example, if a player appeared alongside the first featured player in one season and the second featured player years later, that player can connect the pair. After a correct guess, open the teammate history to see the teams, seasons and shared-game counts behind it.
Your stats, explained
- Last 10
- Your average percentage of answers found across your latest ten completed puzzles. Each puzzle has equal weight. Until you have ten, the label shows how many results are included. Missed days do not count; unfinished attempts count when their day ends.
- Lifetime Perfect Solves
- A perfect solve means finding every answer within the guess allowance. You can miss a guess and still finish perfectly. This total covers all your saved puzzle history.
- Worldwide Perfect Solves
- The total of perfect submitted attempts for today’s puzzle across all saved player identities. Each attempt counts once. It resets with the next daily puzzle; your personal lifetime total does not.

Points and yesterday’s results
Each correct answer earns one base point. Less frequently chosen answers can earn up to one extra rarity point. Rarity bonuses appear after 50 submissions, and scores finalize at 00:15 UTC after the puzzle ends. The percentage and perfect-solve stats depend on answers found, not rarity points.
Open “Yesterday’s results” on the daily page to explore the previous pair and their shared teammates.
